Education and further education The location Germany subsists on the high professional qualification of the people working here. The CICs fight for a primary education of all young people and for further education on a superior level of competitive comparison. In our division "Education and further education" we concentrate upon three aims: |
| We secure the quality of the education system by defining uniform criteria and procedures of examination and by engaging experienced examiners. The CICs secure the high quality standards of education and further education. |
| We provide an optimal balance between the demands of education and further education, personal wishes, aptitudes and those qualifications required in practice by consulting enterprises, employees and apprentices on the basis of a profound market knowledge and a high ability to judge. |
| By a permanent further development and a quick market orientated supplement of the job profiles and further education concepts we enable companies to fall back upon employees with a higher qualification than employees in other countries. |

Start-up aid and support for enterprises A vital economy needs a constant renewal. In our division "Start-up aid and support for enterprises" we concentrate upon three objectives: |
| We promote structural change. We give competent advice to new companies and we accompany them; thus, we supply traditional and new economies with innovation potential. |
| Concerning structural change we act as an intermediate agent for market opportunities. We back up German enterprises at home and abroad as well as foreign companies in Germany in their effort to implement structural change, to profit from this and to master the risks involved. |
| We work for a strong corporate culture in Germany. We want to create a climate that induces more and more people - particularly young people - to become directly responsible entrepreneurs. |

Law / Fair Play On their locations the CICs pay attention to the compliance with the regulations of fair competition. With our services in the division "Law / Fair Play" we concentrate upon three objectives: |
| We ensure the equality of opportunity between the enterprises by preventing competitive-distorting actions and measures. |
| We push back governmental interventions by increasing the economy's capability of self-regulation. |
| We promote competition by facilitating new companies' market entries and by supporting them on their development. |
| Regional economic policy Location is where economy is. And it's exactly where the CIC is situated and does a great deal for the quality of the industrial locations. The conditions for entrepreneurial activities in Germany must be furthermore improved. |
| In our division "Regional economic policy" we concentrate upon three objectives: |
| We provide an efficient infrastructure in all those sectors relevant to optimal economy in the locations. We influence the planning and bring to bear the economy's needs. |
| We create a scope for the economy's development by pushing back the governmental flood of control and by standing up for skeleton conditions advancing economy. |
| We fight for a reduction of fiscal burden by increasing the pressure of rationalization, economization and privatization on the public budget. |

| An important factor for a competitive economy is its companies’ innovative powers. In our division "Innovation and environment" we concentrate on three objectives: |
| We promote the enterprises' power of innovation by providing market transparency and by helping to accelerate the processes of development and commercialization. |
| We support the enterprises in extending their positions concerning the development and application of environmental technologies. We procure the special know-how required for it. |
| We stand up for the concept of sustainable economic management and help enterprises to use the opportunities given in the environmental protection. |
